About the Role

Qeiest is seeking a QC Piping Inspector to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This is a contract position focused on ensuring the quality and compliance of piping systems. The role involves inspecting fabrication, installation, and testing activities to meet project specifications, international codes, and quality standards.

Role Overview

The QC Piping Inspector is responsible for the thorough inspection of all aspects related to piping. This includes verifying materials, reviewing technical documentation, monitoring testing procedures, and identifying non-conformities. The position requires strong technical knowledge in piping systems, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) procedures, and industrial inspection practices to ensure adherence to stringent quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct inspections for piping fabrication, erection, alignment, and installation activities.
Verify piping materials, fittings, valves, and supports against project specifications.
Review piping isometrics, drawings, welding maps, and other technical documentation.
Monitor hydrotesting, flushing, and pressure testing activities.
Coordinate with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) teams and review inspection reports for piping welds and joints.
Identify defects and non-conformities, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive inspection records, reports, and quality documentation.
Ensure compliance with international piping standards, project procedures, and QA/QC requirements.
Participate in audits, inspections, and project quality meetings.
Ensure safety compliance during all inspection and testing activities.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant inspection role.
Demonstrated strong technical knowledge in piping systems.
Proficiency in QA/QC procedures and industrial inspection practices.
Familiarity with international codes and quality standards applicable to piping.

Work Environment

This is a contract position based in Dammam, Eastern Region. The role involves working within industrial settings, requiring adherence to safety protocols during all inspection and testing activities.
