The Piping Superintendent Role

Tecnicas Reunidas is seeking a Piping Superintendent to join its project team in Al Jubail, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for overseeing and coordinating the installation of complex piping systems within large-scale industrial projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the installation of piping systems, ensuring all work aligns with plans, specifications, and project schedules.
• Manage on-site construction activities and monitor daily progress to ensure adherence to project milestones.
• Oversee quality control measures, ensuring all piping work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Lead and coordinate the work of subcontractors, welders, and pipefitters to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review project drawings, isometrics, and P&IDs, providing technical guidance to team members and resolving challenges promptly.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain clear communication with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a Piping Superintendent or in a similar role on mega projects, typically requiring 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of piping installation, construction methods, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Project Location

This full-time position is based at our project site in Al Jubail, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The site is located approximately 50 minutes from Jubail city center and 40 minutes from Dammam.
