We are looking for a skilled Cost Engineer to manage and control cost forecasting activities for our projects, particularly in insulation, scaffolding, refractory, painting, and fireproofing. We are looking for a skilled Cost Engineer to manage and control cost forecasting activities for our projects, particularly in insulation, scaffolding, refractory, painting, and fireproofing. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic company that has been serving the oil and gas sector in Saudi Arabia since 1980.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare Cost to Complete estimates for awarded projects and manage cost forecasting activities.
- Prepare estimation reports and support resource allocation.
- Anticipate potential risks and develop solutions.
- Enhance project profitability and create or adjust budgets.
- Contribute to project schedules and manage time allocation.
- Reassess estimations as requirements change and evaluate completed projects for improvements.
- Undertake additional related responsibilities as assigned.
Professional Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- Certification in Planning/Cost Management/Estimating/Scheduling is preferred.
- SCE Registration is necessary.
Computing/Special Skills:
- Proficiency in MS-Office applications.
- Working knowledge of ERP software and project management tools is preferred.
Required Language Skills:
- Professional level of English and conversational Arabic is desirable.
