About the Role

EY is seeking Senior External Auditors to join its Audit team in Al Khobar. This role supports clients by ensuring accurate financial statement reporting and providing insights on accounting and reporting matters.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of the Audit team, you will participate in audit engagements by effectively collaborating with team members, sharing responsibilities, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress. You will assist in preparing for and participating in meetings with client management teams. Additionally, you will help prepare reports and schedules for clients and other parties, and cultivate productive working relationships with client personnel.

Essential to this role is the ability to establish internal and external relationships, and identify potential business opportunities for EY. Contributing to people initiatives, including recruiting and retaining assurance professionals, is also expected. A key focus will be on anticipating and identifying risks, and escalating issues as appropriate. You will ensure that work delivered to clients meets high-quality standards and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess:

• A strong academic record, including a degree.
• A degree or professional qualification, such as ACCA, CPA, or CA.
• A minimum of four years of professional experience in external audit.
• Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm.
