Service Technician

About the Role

Johnson Controls Arabia is seeking a Service Technician to join their team in Al Khobar. This full-time role involves installing and commissioning system field devices, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Install basic required system field devices.
• Perform commissioning using standard configuration and commissioning tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in existing systems.
• Respond to basic warranty calls.
• Keep Johnson Controls Arabia, contractors, and customers informed of job progress and any issues.
• Deliver output according to specific operational targets.
• Explain facts, practices, and policies to both internal and external parties.
• Correct or resolve issues and problems in existing systems and processes, including making minor changes.

Problem Solving and Scope

The Service Technician will frequently address problems and issues that fall within a single job area or discipline, with a well-defined scope. Less often, problems may be vaguely defined, requiring an understanding and consideration of other job areas. The role primarily utilizes specialized knowledge of specific commercial, technical, trades, or office operations, with less frequent application of broad theory and principles within a professional discipline or advanced technical/operational practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• A two-year degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of suggested experience in a relevant field.

Work Environment

This is an individual contributor role with no direct responsibility for leading others. The application of knowledge is focused domestically, limited to locations within a country or neighboring countries with similar cultures.
