About the Role

Wood (KSA) is seeking a TPE V/Principal Pipeline Engineer to join their project team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires an experienced engineer to provide specialized expertise in pipeline engineering within an Oil & Gas project environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide discipline expertise to the business, focusing on an area of specialization.
Perform engineering assignments and produce a range of engineering deliverables, including more complex tasks.
Evaluate, select, and adapt standard techniques, procedures, and criteria for task execution.
Execute standard and straightforward engineering activities, working unsupervised on most aspects.
Perform conventional aspects of design engineering and analysis, acting as document originator.
Create and review designs, drawings, specifications, and other engineering deliverables for existing and new technology.
Establish detailed designs and performance specifications to fulfill requirements for components, systems, and processes.
Plan and carry out successive steps, handling problems with general guidance.
Meet discipline cost and schedule requirements in deliverable production, coordinate work schedules, and prepare progress reports.
Recommend changes in plans and estimated costs when necessary.
Develop engineering deliverables such as specifications, calculations, reports, and technical requisitions.
Interpret specifications and investigate difficulties.
Review vendor documents and actively participate in design reviews.
Conduct problem-solving for new and varied issues demanding technical expertise, investigation, and interpretation.
Develop alternative solutions, identifying risks and benefits.
Develop solutions to non-recurring problems by appraising, interpreting, and evaluating precedents and data.
Exercise professional judgment in selecting and interpreting information and modifying standard methods.
Provide technical input and support to proposals as required.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Minimum of 15+ years of experience in executing Oil & Gas projects.
Expertise in layout and material.
Knowledge of stress analysis.
Proficient user of relevant software and calculation templates.
Ability to comprehend and interpret technical information applicable to the discipline.
Demonstrated application of theory in a practical context.
Experience with major projects completed in S3D/E3D environment.
