The Accountant will be responsible for a range of critical financial duties. This includes the preparation, organization, and archiving of all disbursement documents. The Accountant will also analyze financial data, prepare accounting entries, and record all financial transactions accurately. Auditing bank accounts and preparing necessary reconciliations are essential tasks, as is the preparation and archiving of reports and documents related to expenses and revenues.

Financial Oversight and Reporting

This position involves significant financial oversight. The Accountant will audit financial claims, verifying their legal and financial completeness. They will also follow up on the auditing and approval of disbursements by accredited regulatory bodies. Monitoring current and capital expenditures against the monthly financial status of budget items is a core duty. The role includes preparing the financial status and monthly summaries, as well as the preparation of annual final accounts.

Process Development and Continuous Improvement

The Accountant is expected to contribute to the development of accounting methods and procedures.
