About the Accountant Role

Compuset is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of the company and grow professionally within a supportive environment. The role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, collaborating with department heads to gather data and provide insightful analysis.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payment collection.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and financial accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Support the annual audit process by providing comprehensive documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Monitor financial transactions and ensure adherence to internal controls, identifying areas for improvement.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
• Assist in financial analysis and reporting to provide actionable insights to management.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounting and finance.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in accounting. A strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, and tax compliance is essential. The ability to work with advanced accounting software and spreadsheets is required.

Work Details

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah. The offered salary range is SAR 7,500 to SAR 11,250 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
