About the Role

Hemamco Company is seeking an experienced Cost Control Engineer to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This full-time role involves working on Saudi Aramco-approved projects and other potential client engagements, focusing on maintaining high-quality construction, safety, and compliance with engineering standards.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to monitor and control project costs against approved budgets. The Cost Control Engineer will be responsible for providing timely forecasts and cost-performance information to project management, ensuring financial oversight and control throughout project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project cost-control structures.
• Monitor budget, commitments, actual expenditures, and forecast costs.
• Track purchase orders, subcontracts, manpower, equipment, and other project costs.
• Prepare cost reports and forecasts.
• Analyze budget variances and identify potential overruns.
• Maintain cost-to-complete and Estimate at Completion (EAC).
• Coordinate cost information with procurement, finance, planning, and project management teams.
• Support change-order and variation cost assessments.
• Support cash-flow and project financial forecasting.
• Provide management with reliable cost-performance indicators.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Relevant academic or technical qualifications for the position.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in industrial, construction, infrastructure, Oil & Gas, or EPC sectors.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, cost, and schedule adherence.
• Demonstrated professional accountability and ability to work in a developing project organization.
• Previous experience in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SEC, or other major Saudi industrial clients is an advantage.
