Makana Holding is seeking an MRO Sourcing Buyer to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role is central to managing the procurement and supply chain for Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) items across our clients' networks, ensuring operational continuity and efficiency.

The Role of MRO Sourcing Buyer

As an MRO Sourcing Buyer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement and supply chain execution of critical MRO items. This position serves as a primary liaison between our operations team, end-users, and a diverse network of specialized vendors. The core objective is to procure high-quality indirect materials, such as spare parts, safety equipment, and janitorial supplies, at the most competitive prices, thereby minimizing downtime and optimizing inventory control for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified suppliers capable of reliably meeting the varied MRO requirements of the business and its clients.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms with vendors to achieve continuous cost savings and enhance value.
• Execute procurement processes, including processing purchase requisitions, issuing Request for Quotes (RFQs), generating Purchase Orders (POs), and ensuring accurate invoice reconciliation.
• Track order status, manage spare parts inventory levels, and implement measures to prevent overstocking or stockouts of essential consumables.
• Monitor and report on key supplier metrics, such as on-time delivery, product quality, and lead times, developing strategies to improve overall scorecard performance.
• Collaborate closely with local sales teams and customers to accurately forecast supply needs and contribute to value creation initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in MRO sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management. A proven track record in supplier negotiation, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration is essential.

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern Region. The role requires a dedicated presence to manage on-site procurement and supply chain activities effectively.
