The Role: Operator III, Offline (Primary Slitter)

Rowad is seeking an Operator III, Offline to join its team in Dammam. This full-time position is specifically for a Primary Slitter Operator, responsible for the effective operation of the main slitter machine. The core objective is to achieve production targets while maintaining consistent quality, in strict adherence to customer requirements and established standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Load mill rolls onto the slitter, set up the machine, and load paper cores cut to the appropriate sizes as per the production plan.
• Ensure the accuracy of every machine set-up according to the Slitter Job Order to meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Operate the slitter machine efficiently and in full compliance with safety standards.
• Unload slitted rolls and transport them to the packing area or the designated area for semi-finished goods.
• Maintain the cleanliness of both the Slitter machine and the surrounding slitter area.

Quality Control and Data Management

• Inspect and monitor the quality of rolls during the slitting process, placing them in the designated area for further actions.
• Perform Quality Control (QC) checks in accordance with slitted roll specifications, both during and after the completion of slitting.
• Conduct visual inspections, including assessing the winding quality and overall appearance of the produced rolls.
• Test and accurately record roll hardness using a Test Hammer.
• Issue labels for produced rolls and accurately enter production data into the production Oracle / Bonfanti System Application.
• Record detailed production data, including input and output specifics, prepare comprehensive shift reports, and maintain a logbook of all shift slitting activities.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. The position requires a practical understanding of machine operation, a keen eye for quality control, and the ability to adhere to established procedures and safety protocols. Basic computer literacy for data entry is also necessary.

This full-time position is based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, within a manufacturing environment. The role requires consistent attention to detail and adherence to operational guidelines to ensure product quality and safety standards are met.
