About the Production Engineer Role

ALRAJHI GROUP is seeking a full-time Production Engineer to join their team in Dammam. This role is responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring manufacturing processes operate safely, efficiently, and meet quality and productivity targets. ALRAJHI GROUP, established in 1961, is a prominent Saudi industrial and logistics group with extensive experience in transport, manufacturing, and supply chain services, employing over 2,000 professionals across the GCC and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

The Production Engineer will manage and optimize production operations. Key duties include:

• Planning and scheduling production activities.
• Coordinating necessary resources for production.
• Monitoring the performance of production equipment.
• Troubleshooting process issues to minimize operational downtime.
• Implementing and maintaining quality control standards.
• Analyzing production data to identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Supporting lean manufacturing and cost-optimization initiatives.
• Collaborating with operations, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams.
• Preparing technical reports on production activities.
• Supporting compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess a strong understanding of production engineering principles. Specific requirements include:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Zero to one year of experience in a production engineering role.
• Proficiency in production planning, including resource allocation and scheduling.
• Hands-on experience with quality control practices and documentation in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and problem-solving.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods.
• Basic understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) practices in production.
