Majd Yanbu Industrial Company (شركة مجد ينبع الصناعية) is a strategic joint venture between Elsewedy Cables and Alfanar Electrical Systems. The company has established a state-of-the-art copper rod manufacturing facility within Yanbu Industrial City, Saudi Arabia. This facility is designed for a substantial production capacity of 120,000 metric tons per year and is currently in the process of ramping up to full commercial production.

Role Overview: Production Engineer

Majd Yanbu Industrial Company is seeking a Production Engineer to join its team in Yanbu, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for shaping and optimizing manufacturing processes from the ground up as the facility transitions into commercial operation. The role involves direct oversight of daily production and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations on the copper rod casting and rolling lines to meet quality and output targets.
• Monitor process parameters, including temperature, speed, tension, and cooling, to ensure product consistency.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks through root cause analysis and process optimization.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and support planned shutdown activities.
• Implement and maintain production Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and control plans.
• Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to output, yield, scrap, and energy consumption, and report findings to management.
• Support new product trials, process improvements, and capacity enhancement projects.

Required Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in a metals, heavy industry, or continuous casting environment.
• Familiarity with copper rod or wire rod manufacturing processes is considered a strong advantage.

Work Environment and Location

This full-time position is based at the company's manufacturing facility in Yanbu Industrial City (ينبع), Al Madinah (المدينة المنورة), Saudi Arabia. The role operates within a dynamic industrial setting focused on high-volume copper rod production, contributing to a new and expanding operation.
