About the Production Engineer Role

Berain Water is seeking a Production Engineer to join its team. This full-time position is based in Jeddah and Makkah. The role requires a candidate with 2-5 years of experience in production or manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement production plans, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
• Supervise production lines, supervisors, and technicians to maintain the progress of the production plan.
• Prepare and submit periodic and daily reports on production operations and plan adherence.
• Manage and coordinate work schedules for production technicians as needed.
• Provide recommendations for enhancing production capabilities and developing processes, with a focus on cost reduction and quality improvement.
• Collaborate with Total Quality Management to address production issues, product quality errors, and safety concerns, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
• Liaise with the maintenance team on preventive maintenance schedules, planned downtime, technical problem resolution, and malfunction reduction.
• Monitor the efficiency, production capacity, and inventory levels of industrial machines and equipment to support sales operations.
• Ensure safe operating conditions within the work area, promptly reporting and rectifying any unsafe situations.
• Undertake any other tasks assigned by the direct manager.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree specializing in Production or an equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the food production and manufacturing sector.
