Senior Network & Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

Al Qaryan Group is seeking a Senior Network & Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, implementation, operation, and security of the enterprise IT infrastructure. This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern region, and requires ensuring a secure, resilient, and high-performing environment across on-premises and cloud platforms to support critical business applications and services.

Role Summary

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership capabilities, a security-first mindset, and excellent documentation and problem-solving skills. The role involves managing complex IT infrastructure, enhancing cybersecurity posture, and providing technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure using Cisco and Huawei technologies, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and SD-WAN.
• Manage and optimize network, server, and cloud infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Configure, manage, and secure Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, IDS/IPS, and other security solutions.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, coordinate penetration testing, and lead remediation activities to strengthen cybersecurity posture.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Develop and maintain network diagrams, technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
• Lead infrastructure enhancement projects and provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Collaborate with application, cybersecurity, and business teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable IT services.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance infrastructure performance and security.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in network and infrastructure engineering.
• Demonstrated expertise in Cisco and Huawei networking technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Proficiency in Fortinet firewalls and security solutions.
