About Parsons and the Opportunity

Parsons Corporation is seeking a full-time Accounting Assistant (Saudi National) to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the finance department by completing a broad scope of routine accounting tasks under general supervision.

The Accounting Assistant Role

The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for supporting the finance operations through various accounting functions. This position involves processing financial information, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the legitimacy of transactions. Key Responsibilities

Receive accounting information from internal or external sources, including other Finance Department sections, other departments or divisions, other Parsons companies, suppliers, and clients.
Audit invoices for appropriate supporting documentation.
Match information and documentation with accounting records, verifying accounts and sub-jobs charged for accuracy and legitimacy.
Process financial records, including the preparation of journals, registers, ledgers, budgets, tax reports, and client invoices.
Maintain standard accounting and financial records, and input information into a computerized accounting system.
Prepare financial information for use by other departments, clients, and/or suppliers.
Perform financial reconciliations and/or proofs.
Answer inquiries and prepare standard financial analyses.
Maintain computerized databases for tracking and informational purposes.
Provide guidance to lower-level Accounting support personnel as appropriate.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

Must be a Saudi National.
0-1 years of experience in an accounting or finance-related role.
Ability to work effectively under general supervision.
Demonstrated capability in handling routine accounting tasks and maintaining financial records.
