About Gathern and the Role

Gathern, a Saudi alternative accommodation marketplace connecting guests and hosts in line with Vision 2030, is seeking an Analytics Manager. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. The Analytics Manager will be responsible for transforming Gathern's analytics capabilities from a reporting service into a trusted decision engine, establishing a single source of truth for all teams.

Role Purpose and Impact

The primary purpose of this role is to embed analysts within the business to identify opportunities, gaps, and solutions that drive company KPIs. The Analytics Manager will build and lead a high-performing analytics team, implementing an operating rhythm that enables independent delivery and supports leadership in making faster, evidence-based decisions. This role integrates into the company's planning cycle, owns performance measurement and explanation, and sets data-backed priorities for each function.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a connected KPI tree, including North Star, primary, and secondary KPIs for each function.
• Assign every KPI an owner, a certified definition, and a clear link to the KPI above it.
• Own the analytical aspects of the annual and quarterly planning cycle.
• Build driver-based models to simulate targets and verify alignment between function and company targets.
• Run scenarios for leadership and Finance, and defend underlying assumptions.
• Own monthly and quarterly performance reports, explaining material misses or beats with real drivers and recommended actions.
• Set top data-backed focus areas for each function quarterly, track recommendation adoption, and measure KPI impact.
• Design experiments and post-launch measurement for key initiatives.
• Enforce certified metrics, definition control, and dashboard hygiene across the company.
• Ensure leadership forums utilize only certified numbers.
• Hire, coach, and develop the analyst team, reviewing their work for logic and quality.
• Write role scorecards and SOPs for every analyst, assigning each a business function to partner with.
• Manage demand intake and prioritization to ensure the team focuses on high-value work.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in analytics or a related field. The role requires a proven ability to build and lead analytics teams, implement robust operating rhythms, and drive data-backed decision-making within an organization.
