About the Role

Ejada is seeking an Application Consultant Sanctions Screening to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on the implementation, configuration, support, and optimization of sanctions screening solutions within banking and financial services environments. The consultant will act as a primary link between compliance, business, and technical teams to ensure effective operation of screening platforms and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of sanctions screening platforms across development, test, UAT, and production environments.
• Conduct business workshops and requirements gathering sessions with compliance, operations, and technology stakeholders.
• Configure and optimize screening rules, watchlists, matching algorithms, thresholds, scoring parameters, and filtering logic to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute solution deployments, upgrades, releases, and change management activities.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities and support defect resolution.
• Investigate screening alerts, operational incidents, and system performance issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Support integration of sanctions screening solutions with core banking platforms, payment systems, customer onboarding solutions, and enterprise data sources.
• Develop and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, operational runbooks, and user training materials.
• Ensure compliance with applicable sanctions regulations, financial crime frameworks, and internal governance standards.
• Advise stakeholders on best practices related to sanctions screening operations, watchlist management, and regulatory compliance.
• Support tuning, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance screening effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements including SAMA, OFAC, UN, EU, and other applicable sanctions lists.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in sanctions screening solutions within financial services.
