About the Role

Honeywell (KSA) is seeking an Application/Sys Sales Engineer I to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves supporting technical requests from customers and contributing to the enhancement of customer satisfaction and loyalty. The position focuses on optimizing customer experience programs and driving business growth within the organization.

Role Purpose and Impact

As an Application/Sys Sales Engineer I, you will play a key role in shaping the customer experience strategy. Your contributions will directly aim to improve customer satisfaction, increase revenue, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and foster a customer-centric culture, all of which are vital for the long-term success and growth of Honeywell.

Key Responsibilities: Design Support

• Interpret client requirements, building codes, and relevant fire safety standards to develop compliant, cost-effective, and robust Fire, Security, or BMS solutions.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, architects, and contractors throughout the design and project lifecycle to ensure alignment, technical accuracy, and timely delivery.
• Prepare detailed system architecture and bill of materials for Fire, Security, or BMS systems, including complimentary systems.
• Review project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and client requirements.
• Prepare technical proposals for bids and tenders.
• Understand the competitive landscape and local industry practices for the assigned System and region.

Key Responsibilities: Application Engineering

• Conduct product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), presentations, and technical consultations.
• Obtain vendor quotations and evaluate technical and commercial compliance.
• Support project managers and installation teams by providing engineering input during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Develop products with enhancements and new product developments to increase product specifications and quality.
• Conduct technical reviews, design risk assessments, and site visits to resolve technical queries and verify installation quality as per design intent.
• Develop and implement customer-centric programs to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive customer-focused initiatives and ensure alignment with business goals.
