About the Role

Courtyard by Marriott in Riyadh is seeking an Assistant Manager for its Food & Beverage department. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and is responsible for overseeing assigned food and beverage operations, ensuring guest and employee satisfaction, maintaining operational standards, and achieving financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Foster a property environment that promotes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and a dedication to service.
• Provide excellent customer service to all employees and respond quickly and proactively to their concerns.
• Utilize coaching skills across the property to develop staff.
• Demonstrate self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm in daily operations.
• Motivate and encourage staff to effectively resolve guest and employee-related issues.

Ensuring Exceptional Guest Service

• Deliver outstanding customer service to all guests.
• Address guest concerns promptly and proactively.
• Understand and implement the brand's service culture.
• Set clear service expectations for all guests, both internally and externally.
• Take ownership of guest complaints or problems until they are resolved or appropriately escalated.
• Follow up to ensure guest complaints have been addressed to their satisfaction.
• Develop relationships with guests to foster repeat business.

Operational Compliance

• Adhere to all corporate accounting procedures.
• Assist the General Manager as needed with the annual Quality audit.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in the food and beverage industry, with a proven track record in management roles. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for this position.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role involves working within a dynamic hotel environment, focusing on the operational aspects of food and beverage services.
