About the Role

Datamatics Technologies is seeking a BI Developer/Consultant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring an Arabic-speaking professional with 2-5 years of experience in Business Intelligence solutions.

Role Overview

The BI Developer/Consultant will be responsible for building end-to-end BI solutions, from data modeling to visualization and deployment. This role requires strong technical skills in major BI tools and the ability to translate business requirements into effective dashboards and reports, acting as both a developer and a consultant to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end BI solutions, encompassing data modeling, visualization, and deployment.
• Gather requirements directly from business stakeholders and translate them into actionable dashboards and reports.
• Build and troubleshoot ETL/ELT data pipelines that feed BI layers.
• Optimize SQL queries, develop stored procedures, and manage complex joins for data integration.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 4–6+ years of experience in building BI solutions end-to-end.
• Expert-level proficiency in at least one major BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik).
• Strong SQL skills, including query optimization, stored procedures, and complex joins.
• Demonstrated experience in data modeling (star schema, dimensional modeling).
• Proficiency in DAX or equivalent calculation languages (if Power BI-centric).
• Ability to gather and translate business requirements into BI solutions.
• Arabic language skills are required for this on-site role in KSA.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar unified analytics platforms.
• Exposure to Python or R for advanced analytics feeding into BI layers.
• Experience presenting to executive or C-level audiences.
• Domain experience in operations, logistics, parking, or municipal data.
• Familiarity with data governance and row-level security implementation.
• Prior consulting background, including client-facing engagements, scoping, and stakeholder management.

This is an on-site, full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires direct interaction with business stakeholders and team members within a professional environment.
