The Bid Writer Role

Chronicle Heritage Arabia is seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join its team. This full-time, fully remote role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves leading the preparation of high-quality bids for cultural heritage, archaeology, and advisory projects across international markets. The Bid Writer will work closely with technical specialists and senior leadership to secure new work and contribute to significant and complex international heritage projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead bids, tenders, Expressions of Interest (EOIs), and proposals from initial planning through to final submission.
• Write clear, compelling, and compliant responses to bid requirements.
• Coordinate inputs and content from technical teams and external partners.
• Develop pricing inputs in collaboration with senior staff.
• Manage and maintain bid libraries, templates, and CVs for consistent and efficient bid preparation.
• Track bid outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement processes.

Candidate Profile and Experience

The ideal candidate will be a professional copywriter with a proven track record in bid writing. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience in leading and preparing successful bids, tenders, and proposals, preferably within cultural heritage, archaeology, or advisory sectors.

Work Environment and Collaboration

This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work within large interdisciplinary teams across the globe. The Bid Writer will collaborate with government authorities, major developers, NGOs, and private firms on projects ranging from international funding proposals to heritage preservation initiatives.
