Business Development Manager

About the Role

Adecco is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading global e-commerce and marketplace company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on driving business growth within the e-commerce sector, specifically targeting the sports category.

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding the company's presence and partnerships within the e-commerce and marketplace landscape. The role requires a strong focus on the sports category, leveraging existing client relationships and commercial acumen to achieve business development results.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies within the e-commerce, marketplace, retail, or consumer products sectors.
• Focus primarily on the sports category, including sportswear, sporting goods, fitness products, and sports equipment.
• Manage and expand an existing portfolio of clients, brands, and sellers.
• Drive business growth and achieve sales targets through strategic partnerships.
• Cultivate strong client relationships and demonstrate commercial acumen in all business dealings.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in Business Development or Sales within E-commerce, Marketplaces, Retail, or Consumer Products.
• Proven experience in the Sports category, with sports being a primary or dominant area of expertise.
• An established portfolio of clients, brands, or sellers is essential.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Noon, Namshi, Trendyol, or similar marketplaces is highly preferred.
• Experience working with e-commerce agencies, retailers, distributors, or brands that sell through marketplaces is also relevant.
• Demonstrated strong client relationship management skills and proven business development results.

Work Location

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with potential business activities in Jeddah.
