About the Role

Master Works is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust Business Intelligence solutions to support critical business needs.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for translating business requirements into effective BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, data models, and ETL processes. This role requires close collaboration with both business and technical teams to ensure continuous improvement and optimal performance of BI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into clear technical specifications for BI solutions.
• Design, build, and deploy Business Intelligence solutions, including reporting tools, dashboards, and data models such as Tabular Models.
• Develop and execute SQL-based database queries and conduct comprehensive data analyses.
• Produce ETL design guidelines and develop ETL processes to ensure a manageable BI infrastructure.
• Perform unit testing, prepare test cases and plans, and conduct system testing and troubleshooting for BI systems.
• Evaluate and continuously improve existing BI systems and integrate them with other relevant platforms.
• Develop and update technical documentation for all BI solutions and processes.
• Monitor data projects throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with quality standards and timely completion.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot various Business Intelligence tools, assisting in issue resolution.
• Monitor monthly release cycles and perform unit testing for Quality Assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence development.
• Demonstrated experience working with enterprise-level applications, databases, and data warehouses.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling principles.
• Proven ability to analyze user requirements and develop front-end BI applications according to specifications.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to take initiative and drive innovation in BI solutions.
