Afaq - Warehouse Branch is seeking a City Manager, External Fulfillment to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is part of Amazon Worldwide Operations, which focuses on fulfillment and customer service to ensure a consistent customer experience. The company aims to be a customer-centric e-commerce platform, driven by innovation and continuous evolution.

Role Overview

The City Manager, External Fulfillment will be responsible for overseeing multiple sites from an operational and compliance perspective. This role involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to Amazon Standards and operational metrics. The successful candidate will identify patterns and disruptions, dive deep into details, and foresee data implications. The position requires flexibility to work weekends and/or overnight shifts regularly, as well as travel to sites for launch, setup, support, auditing, and monitoring operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor operations of assigned sites and propose and implement improvements.
• Identify relevant data from various sources and take necessary actions.
• Anticipate implications based on current data and trends.
• Organize and promptly communicate situations, problem-solve, and prevent recurrence.
• Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, considering objectives, limitations, conformance, and information privacy.
• Train and direct associates for action and adherence to norms and practices.
• Audit sites for various operational conformances, restrictions, and norms.
• Conduct audits based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), analyze data, and propose features to enhance the Seller experience.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 0-1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to monitor multiple sites and ensure operational compliance.
• Proficiency in identifying data patterns and potential disruptions.
• Capability to scrutinize details and understand data implications.
• Flexibility to work weekends and/or overnight shifts regularly.
• Willingness to travel to sites for launch, setup, support, audit, and monitoring operations.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, within the External Fulfillment team of Amazon Worldwide Operations. The role requires a professional who is flexible, innovative, and forward-thinking, capable of driving strategic projects and leading operational process improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies.
