About the Role

Canon EMEA is seeking a CKSA Sales Account Manager (New Account) to join its innovative business sales team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to bringing in new Business-to-Business (B2B) clients, driving business and revenue growth, and expanding the sales of Canon's core products and Office Imaging & Solutions opportunities within the KSA market. The Account Manager will serve as the primary relationship lead for new clients and an internal advocate, focusing on understanding client needs to ensure satisfaction and maximize brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate top-quality prospects from small to mid-size new businesses across KSA, managing an active pipeline with varying sales cycles.
  • Establish strong business contacts and relationships with leads, including data gathering and guiding potential customers through the client acquisition journey.
  • Acquire and close new business deals through cold calling, prospecting, tele-sales, face-to-face sales, and sales presentations.
  • Identify qualified prospects, navigate company structures to identify decision-makers, and proactively seek new avenues to penetrate clients.
  • Apply consultative sales skills to explain product benefits and features, overcome objections, and close sales effectively.
  • Drive customer engagements and meetings, developing opportunities to position, propose, and close deals.
  • Deliver professional face-to-face and/or online presentations and proposals.
  • Track and analyze market and industry trends, identify new business opportunities, and maintain extensive knowledge of the current market.
  • Maintain an active pipeline report through Salesforce, ensuring all activities are logged accurately.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and clearly explain product value.
  • Utilize product knowledge to build trust, value, and influence with customers.
  • Quote prices and rates as needed to finalize deals.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and expectations, taking responsibility for growing sales revenue.
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding process by introducing the Account Manager and the rest of the team to the client and establishing regular communication.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be a proactive individual who thrives on "hunting" new opportunities. This role requires an independent, highly initiative-driven, and solution-focused professional who concentrates on significant deals and is eager to move from one prospect to the next upon closing. A key aspect of this position involves understanding each client’s unique environment, business needs, technology vision, and internal motivations to effectively fulfill their requirements, grow annual revenue, and ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a B2B Account Management background is preferred.
  • A valid KSA driving license and personal car are mandatory for this position.

Required Skills and Attributes

  • Proven ability to generate top-quality prospects and manage an active sales pipeline effectively.
  • Strong consultative sales skills, including the ability to explain product benefits, overcome objections, and close sales.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in tracking sales activities and maintaining pipeline reports, with experience using Salesforce.
  • Solid product knowledge to build trust, value, and influence with customers.
  • Ability to track market trends, identify new business opportunities, and maintain comprehensive market knowledge.
  • Commitment to meeting daily and weekly lead generation goals and consistently staying ahead of daily metrics in a team-focused environment.
