About the Role

TMC is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This contract position is central to designing and governing cybersecurity architecture, ensuring alignment with Saudi NCA controls and supporting mission-critical operations across various environments.

Role Scope and Objectives

The Cybersecurity Architect will lead the strategic design and ongoing governance of cybersecurity architecture. This encompasses IT, Operational Technology (OT), cloud platforms, data centers, network infrastructure, and other operational environments. A key objective of this role is to provide robust security for aviation and air navigation services.

Key Responsibilities

• Define cybersecurity architecture, reference models, standards, roadmaps, and secure design principles.
• Translate Saudi NCA, NDMO, ISO 27001, NIST, and aviation security requirements into practical security controls.
• Conduct architecture reviews, threat modeling, risk assessments, and security gap assessments for both new and existing systems.
• Support Request for Proposals (RFPs), High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) reviews, vendor evaluations, solution assurance, and compliance validation.
• Advise stakeholders across Air Navigation Services (ANS), Air Traffic Management (ATM), engineering, IT, Security Operations Center (SOC), Identity and Access Management (IAM), network security, and operations on secure-by-design delivery practices.

Required Experience and Expertise

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture. Demonstrated expertise in applying national and international cybersecurity frameworks, including Saudi NCA, NDMO, ISO 27001, and NIST, is required. Experience with security requirements specific to the aviation sector is also essential.
