About the Data Center Security Manager Role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a motivated professional to join the Data Center Security team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on providing hands-on support for data center security operations within the Saudi Cluster. AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of global AWS infrastructure, ensuring continuous access to services for customers by managing servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

As a Data Center Security Manager (DSM), your primary responsibilities will involve overseeing daily security operations, supporting security projects and programs, and ensuring compliance with AWS policies and procedures. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, specialists, and managers across AWS to uphold the highest standards of safety and security while supporting AWS's capacity and cost objectives.

• Direct and manage contract guard force for daily data center operations.
• Address site security incidents, escalations, and related issues.
• Provide on-call management support outside of regular business hours and participate in large-scale event responses as needed.
• Participate in recurring data center security audits and reviews.
• Execute compliance processes according to AWS policies, standards, guidelines, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the development of security methodologies, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare reports and communicate the status of physical security operations to management.
• Oversee new security construction or retrofit projects.
• Manage the security Profit & Loss (P&L) for assigned sites, assist with financial analysis, and contribute to financial decisions for security needs.
• Collaborate with other teams to protect AWS Data Center personnel, information, and assets.
