Role Overview

Chalhoub Group is seeking a Delivery Captain for a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for the timely and careful delivery of customer orders and collection of returns within an appointed region. The Delivery Captain ensures the safe transport of goods, maintains the vehicle in good condition, and follows the most efficient routes. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily deliveries to wholesale and retail outlets.
• Execute last-mile customer deliveries.
• Verify orders before delivery.
• Collect returns and transport them to the warehouse as assigned.
• Collect orders from shops for last-mile delivery.
• Collect cash from e-commerce COD customers and hand over as per procedure.
• Process payments using a credit card machine for e-commerce COD customers.
• Complete all processes within Fareye.
• Manage shop-to-shop transfers.
• Collect necessary documents from shops during returns.
• Report all incidents, misplaced, or lost packages to the Logistics Distribution Department.
• Comply strictly with assigned routes and schedules.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and minor maintenance tasks as needed.
• Report all vehicle maintenance issues.
• Maintain the cleanliness of assigned vehicles, inside and out.
• Ensure the company vehicle is used exclusively for company business.
• Report any accidents immediately.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic and road safety regulations.
• Receive all operating instructions via the Logistics Distribution Department.
• Work within, promote, and identify improvements in the company’s Quality Management System as per ISO 9001 standards.
• Immediately report any breach in procedures, company policy, or security to a supervisor or management.
• Strictly follow, develop, and improve standard processes, procedures, and work instructions.
• Report all incidents, of any nature and cause, to the immediate superior, completing all necessary documentation promptly and accurately.
• Research to improve all warehouse operations according to company objectives.
• Ensure that workplace health, safety & environment requirements as per OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 are met, and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock.
