About the Role

Marriott International is seeking an Engineer Lead to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing the maintenance and operation of tools, appliances, and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment, and recommend replacements as needed.
Calibrate all controls, indicators, and gauges.
Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves.
Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies, maintaining purchase order and inventory records.
Inspect tools, equipment, or machinery and utilize computers to input and retrieve work-related information.
Operate a forklift.
Assist management with employee hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching; serve as a role model.
Comply with all company and safety policies and procedures, report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, complete safety training and certifications, and store flammable materials safely.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
Anticipate and address guests' service needs.
Communicate with others using clear and professional language, and prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, and identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost savings.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 25 pounds or less without assistance.
Ascend or descend regular ladders, service ramps, inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces, and/or step stools.
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Required Qualifications

License or Certification: Valid Driver's License.

Desired Skills and Experience

Education: Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.
Related Work Experience: 4-6 years of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring hands-on involvement with equipment and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and operational efficiency.
