The Role of Executive Project Delivery Director

The Executive Project Delivery Director is a senior leadership position within the Lead Capability at TAIT, based in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time role involves driving both client-facing and internal initiatives, balancing external client engagement with internal support for proposals and project onboarding. The Director ensures strategic alignment across project portfolios with the project management team and provides executive-level oversight for projects, cultivating strong client relationships while supervising all elements of delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and refine scopes of work within an assigned customer portfolio, emphasizing excellence in project delivery and execution.
• Lead commercial success, including budget management, margin optimization, and revenue growth.
• Ensure efficient resourcing and capacity planning to facilitate collaboration across Capabilities.
• Act as a trusted partner to foster long-term client relationships and provide leadership and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure accurate and timely data management within Salesforce.
• Provide leadership in strategic discussions on new project opportunities, evaluating feasibility and organizational capacity.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of assigned advanced projects within the portfolio, ensuring cross-project cohesion and alignment.
• Assign resources to projects in coordination with the VP, Project Delivery & Lead leadership team, collaborating with Competency leadership for staffing needs.
• Partner with the VP, Project Delivery to set competitive commercial strategies and ensure profitable project delivery.
• Oversee customer relationships, advocating for the customer while ensuring alignment of objectives, creative vision, and project delivery.
• Lead efforts to address challenges swiftly and effectively, ensuring consistency in processes, scheduling, and quality standards across all projects.
• Serve as the leadership point for Project Leads, offering guidance, resolution, and executive-level decision support.
• Lead and provide directional oversight to the matrixed team assigned to the portfolio across all Capabilities, coordinating with Competency managers for alignment and collaboration.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project delivery and leadership, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to balance outward client engagement with internal support for proposals and project onboarding.
• Proven capability in providing executive-level oversight for projects, including creative development, project milestones, budgets, logistics, show management, and guest experience.
• Experience in contributing to internal business growth through strategic initiatives, identifying new client opportunities, and strengthening systems and processes.

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh. The role requires a collaborative team player who can also serve as a role model for junior staff, bringing leadership to each project's unique development.
