About the Role

صبا | SAFA is seeking a highly experienced Facilities Specialist with an electrical engineering background to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on the planning and execution of periodic maintenance for facilities and residential units, ensuring optimal performance and safety across our projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage electrical maintenance programs for facilities, residential units, and associated residential complexes within our projects.
• Coordinate with design and operations teams, as well as contractors, to ensure maintenance and development work is executed according to established timelines and approved budgets.
• Monitor energy consumption efficiency and implement initiatives aimed at improving performance and optimizing electricity usage.
• Audit and ensure all electrical systems comply with occupational health and safety regulations, while managing risk assessment and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Prepare emergency plans and effectively handle electrical network failures, coordinating with emergency response teams as required.
• Supervise and provide clear explanations of work manuals, technical documents, and technical reports to both operations and management teams.
• Participate in pre-sales and development stages to ensure electrical safety, cost-effectiveness, and technical feasibility for new projects.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field. Professional licenses or specialized certifications in electrical maintenance and facilities are preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance and facilities management, with a preference for experience in residential units or real estate development projects.

Technical Skills

• Deep understanding of building electrical systems, including electrical distribution, control panels, lighting systems, HVAC, and potential alternative energy systems.
• Sufficient knowledge of electrical safety standards and local regulations, along with the ability to prepare and document safety procedures and train technical teams.
• Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and utilizing engineering tools such as AutoCAD or similar design software, complemented by a good command of MS Office programs.

Core Competencies

• Strong planning, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and consistently adhere to established timelines and budgets.

Work Environment
