About the Facility Management Engineer Role

A Confidential Government entity in Riyadh is seeking a Facility Management Engineer to ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and reliability of building systems and facilities. This full-time position requires a professional dedicated to supporting daily FM operations, conducting inspections, resolving technical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Core Responsibilities

The Facility Management Engineer will be responsible for a range of critical tasks to maintain optimal facility performance. Key duties include:

  • Monitoring and maintaining building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
  • Conducting routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential issues.
  • Reviewing and approving technical submittals, drawings, and maintenance procedures.
  • Coordinating with contractors, vendors, and internal teams for repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshooting system failures and recommending appropriate corrective actions.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
  • Supporting initiatives focused on energy efficiency and sustainability within the facilities.
  • Preparing technical reports and maintaining accurate documentation of all facility-related activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role must possess the necessary educational background and practical experience to effectively manage facility operations. The essential requirements are:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Facility Engineering.
  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in facility operations or maintenance engineering.
