About the General Lines Relationship Manager Role

Marsh Risk is seeking a General Lines Relationship Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on managing and expanding a portfolio of corporate clients within the Saudi Arabian market, with a particular emphasis on general lines insurance and serving Chinese clients.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

As a General Lines Relationship Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining strong client relationships. Your primary objective will be to deliver tailored risk management and insurance solutions, ensuring client retention and contributing to new business revenue targets. This role requires a strategic approach to client engagement and service delivery.

• Conduct detailed GAP analyses to identify growth opportunities within client accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives to support client retention and revenue growth.
• Design and implement customized risk management and insurance programs tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including risk consulting and Mercer Marsh Benefits, to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Drive client retention and contribute to achieving new business revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate sales records and oversee administrative processes.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general lines insurance and a proven ability to manage client relationships effectively. Experience working with diverse client portfolios and a deep understanding of the Saudi Arabian insurance market are essential.

• University degree.
• Minimum 5 years of insurance experience, preferably within a multinational organization.
• Proven expertise in large corporate general lines insurance, with strong knowledge of property portfolios.
• Experience working with Chinese clients or being from China is essential, as this role will primarily deal with Chinese clients in Saudi Arabia.
• Fluency in English is preferred.
