About the Role

Marsh & McLennan is seeking a General Lines Relationship Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on managing and expanding a portfolio of corporate clients, with a significant emphasis on general lines insurance and a dedicated focus on Chinese clients within the Saudi Arabian market.

Role Overview

As a key member of the General Lines team, the Relationship Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to enhance client relationships and deliver tailored risk management solutions. The role requires a proactive approach to client engagement and a deep understanding of the insurance landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed GAP analyses to identify growth opportunities within client accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives to support client retention and revenue growth.
• Design and implement customized risk management and insurance programs tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including risk consulting and Mercer Marsh Benefits, to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Drive client retention and contribute to achieving new business revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate sales records and oversee administrative processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• University degree.
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of insurance experience, preferably within a multinational organization.
• Proven expertise in large corporate general lines insurance, with strong knowledge of property portfolios.
• Essential experience working with Chinese clients or being from China, given the primary focus on Chinese clients in Saudi Arabia.
• Fluency in English is preferred.

Required Skills

• CII certification or recognized awards in general insurance.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Experience working with diverse client portfolios in the property insurance sector.
