About the Role

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated Hostess to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to creating a welcoming first impression for guests and ensuring efficient restaurant operations. The Hostess plays a key role in managing guest flow and supporting the overall dining experience within the hotel's restaurant.

Guest Reception and Service

• Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
• Maintain an organized seating chart and manage table rotation to support service efficiency.
• Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, restaurant offerings, and general hotel information.
• Handle guest concerns or complaints politely and escalate when necessary.

Reservations and Coordination

• Answer phone calls and manage restaurant reservations using the designated system.
• Confirm bookings, handle special requests, and coordinate with the service team for smooth operations.
• Monitor waitlists and update guests with accurate waiting times.
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to optimize seating flow.

Operational Support

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess desk and entrance area.
• Prepare and update menus, reservation lists, and table plans as required.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Support the F&B team during busy periods when needed.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Hostess position should possess 0-1 year of experience in a guest service or hospitality role. This foundational experience is important for understanding guest interactions and contributing effectively to restaurant operations.
