About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Hostess to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to delivering the brand's commitment to "Wonderful Hospitality. Always." The Hostess operates within Marriott International's luxury portfolio, contributing to a guest experience defined by thoughtful, heartfelt, and forward-thinking service. This role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and determine the number in their party.
• Seat guests by identifying a clean, available table, pulling out chairs, and presenting clean, current menus.
• Guide guests through dining rooms and provide any necessary assistance.
• Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings, including organizing seating for groups with special needs.
• Ensure place settings are appropriate, complete with napkins, clean silverware, and other standard items.
• Check menus to confirm they are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free.
• Maintain the cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, adhering to clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being.

• Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Communicate with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Support the team in achieving common goals and respond appropriately to concerns of other employees.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 0-1 years of related work experience is required.
• No supervisory experience is necessary for this role.
• No specific license or certification is required.

Physical Demands of the Role

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
