About the Role

Egis is seeking a HSE Inspector with airport experience to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all airport operations. The inspector will conduct systematic inspections, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective measures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.

Role Context and Impact

The HSE Inspector plays a critical role in protecting the workforce and maintaining operational excellence at our airport facility. This position requires expertise in airport safety standards and regulatory requirements to ensure adherence to both local and international aviation safety guidelines. The inspector will contribute directly to the safety culture and operational integrity of the airport.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive HSE inspections and audits across airport facilities, including terminal buildings, cargo areas, maintenance hangars, and ground operations zones.
Identify, document, and analyze potential hazards and safety risks in accordance with Saudi Arabia's HSE regulations and international aviation safety standards.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures.
Prepare detailed inspection reports and audit findings with clear documentation of non-conformances and corrective action requirements.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and industry best practices across all airport operations.
Collaborate with department heads and operational teams to develop and implement safety improvement programs.
Conduct safety training sessions and awareness programs for airport personnel.
Maintain organized records of all inspections, audits, and corrective actions for regulatory review.
Monitor the effectiveness of implemented safety measures and recommend continuous improvements.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors during compliance reviews and inspections.

Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience as an HSE Inspector, specifically within an airport environment.
2-5 years of relevant experience in health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Strong understanding of Saudi Arabia's HSE regulations and international aviation safety standards.
Ability to conduct thorough inspections, identify hazards, and implement effective corrective actions.
Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.

This position is based at an airport facility in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is full-time and requires active engagement with various operational teams and regulatory bodies to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
