About the HWO Leader Role

GET Global Group is seeking an experienced HWO Leader to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This contract position is ideal for a professional with 2-5 years of experience in hydraulic workover operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing critical well intervention activities, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to safety standards.

Core Responsibilities in Hydraulic Workover Operations

The HWO Leader will be responsible for the comprehensive management and execution of Hydraulic Workover Unit (HWU) operations. This includes overseeing all phases from initial deployment and rig-up to the successful completion of workover activities and subsequent rig-down procedures. A thorough understanding of the types of workover operations that can be carried out with HWU and their inherent limitations is essential for this role.

Required Technical Expertise

• Good understanding of Hydraulic Workover Unit (HWU), its associated equipment, and operational procedures.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Well Control principles, Well Configuration, and Downhole Completion techniques.
• Familiarity with Snubbing Stroke Length and Torque Limits to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Safety and Equipment Management

• Proficiency in implementing and adhering to all relevant Safety Measures during workover operations.
• Experience with the installation of Blowout Preventer (BOP) systems and Wellhead/X-mas Tree equipment.
• Ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with hydraulic workover activities.
