Hydrogeologist Technical Commercial

About the Role

Technical Development Solutions (TDS) is seeking a Hydrogeologist Technical Commercial to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves delivering groundwater assessments, modeling, and monitoring for a diverse client base across the Middle East, Europe, Latin America, and Asia. The ideal candidate will be adept at both technical modeling and client engagement, with a desire to lead projects from proposal to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual hydrogeological models and numerical groundwater models (MODFLOW-based) for resource, dewatering, and impact studies.
• Plan and interpret pumping tests, water-level monitoring, and drilling programs.
• Author clear technical reports and recommendations for decision-makers.
• Define scopes, methodologies, and cost inputs for proposals and tenders.
• Present findings and proposals to clients, and support clarifications and negotiations.
• Coordinate with geophysicists, GIS specialists, and field teams.
• For senior-level candidates: lead client accounts and contribute to the department's annual business plan.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in hydrogeology.
• Proficiency in building and interpreting numerical groundwater models, particularly MODFLOW-based.
• Experience in planning and interpreting pumping tests, water-level monitoring, and drilling programs.
• Demonstrated ability to write clear and concise technical reports.
• Strong communication skills for client presentations and negotiations.
