About the Opportunity

Nextwo Co. is seeking an IT Security & Cybersecurity Operations Team Lead to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to our efforts in strengthening cyber defense and driving security operations. We are looking for a leader with strong hands-on expertise to manage our Security Operations Center (SOC) team.

Role Purpose and Focus

The primary purpose of this position is to lead and enhance our cybersecurity operations. The role is distinctly operations-focused, requiring a proactive approach to managing security processes and technologies rather than primarily engaging in deep security analysis. The Team Lead will be instrumental in ensuring the effectiveness and continuous improvement of our cyber defense capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Manage and mentor SOC Analysts and Security Engineers.
• Oversee security monitoring, incident response, and threat detection activities.
• Ensure optimal performance of enterprise security technologies.
• Drive continuous improvement of SOC processes, playbooks, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Network, Cloud, and Risk teams to strengthen the organization's security posture.

Qualifications and Experience

• Saudi national.
• 7+ years of experience in Network Security & Cybersecurity Operations.
• Proven experience leading a Security Operations Center (SOC) or Cybersecurity Operations team.

Essential Technical Skills

Candidates must possess strong hands-on experience with the following:

• Next-Generation Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point).
• SIEM Platforms (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight).
• IDS/IPS, WAF, VPN, EDR/XDR solutions.
• Enterprise Network Security Architecture.
• Incident Response & Threat Hunting methodologies.
• Security Frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK).

Leadership and Interpersonal Attributes

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills to effectively guide the team and collaborate across departments. This role requires a professional who can drive operational excellence and foster a strong security culture.
