The Role of Manager - Group Accounting

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced and strategic professional to join as Manager - Group Accounting. This full-time role is based in Riyadh and involves overseeing the group accounting function. The Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial reporting framework and accounting policies, leading the consolidation of financial statements across the group.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the group accounting team to prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure financial integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure effective coordination with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and compliance reviews.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the executive leadership team.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulations, assessing their impact and driving necessary changes within the organization.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the group accounting function to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Mentor and develop accounting professionals within the group, fostering a high-performance culture.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in group accounting.
• Proven experience in leading financial statement consolidation.
• Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local accounting standards.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls.
