About the Role

Khamis Al Sharjah Contracting Company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with mandatory MEP expertise to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is dedicated to industrial construction projects, focusing on the successful implementation and supervision of mechanical and MEP systems.

Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for a range of duties, ensuring project specifications and quality standards are met:

• Review mechanical and MEP drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Supervise the installation of HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, piping, and other MEP systems.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors on all MEP-related activities.
• Manage and supervise mechanical and MEP site teams.
• Monitor daily site progress and prepare comprehensive technical and progress reports.
• Troubleshoot site-related issues and ensure all MEP quality standards are consistently met.
• Support the testing, commissioning, and handover processes for MEP systems.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following educational and experience criteria:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-6 years of experience in construction or industrial projects.
• Strong and proven MEP expertise is mandatory for this role.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

Successful candidates will possess the following skills and in-depth knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and piping systems.
• Hands-on experience in site execution, MEP coordination, and team management.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret MEP shop drawings and specifications.

This position is based in Riyadh and involves working on various industrial construction projects. The role requires active site presence and coordination within a dynamic, project-driven environment.
