About the Role

First Gulf Company is seeking an experienced Mechanical / HVAC Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing mechanical and HVAC systems specifically within a hospital environment, ensuring their optimal operation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical / HVAC Engineer will be responsible for supervising the operation and maintenance of critical systems, managing programs, and ensuring compliance with health standards. Key responsibilities include:

Supervising the operation and maintenance of chillers, AHUs, and pumps.
Overseeing plumbing systems, steam/boilers, and medical gas plants.
Managing Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) programs.
Controlling temperature, humidity, and pressure regimes within the hospital.
Supporting infection-control requirements for HVAC systems.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position must meet specific academic and professional requirements, demonstrating a strong background in mechanical engineering with a focus on hospital environments.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Mandatory: Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration.
5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
Strong experience with hospital HVAC and mechanical systems.

Required Knowledge

The ideal candidate will possess specialized knowledge crucial for managing complex hospital systems, including:

OR / ICU / isolation-room ventilation and pressure cascades.
HEPA filtration and chilled-water plants.
Medical gas systems.
ASHRAE 170, HTM/NFPA 99, CBAHI, and JCI standards.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a hospital setting. The role requires a commitment to maintaining high operational standards and supporting critical healthcare infrastructure.
