About the Role

Amazon is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Operations Manager for its fulfillment center operations in Riyadh. This full-time role involves leading and developing teams to ensure the efficient and safe delivery of packages to customers. The Operations Manager will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, attendance, and performance across their assigned shifts.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for engaging your team to uphold the highest levels of operational excellence. This includes providing the necessary tools for success, driving productivity and efficiency through data-driven decisions, and employing analytical problem-solving techniques. A key aspect of the role is ensuring customer expectations are met by guaranteeing timely and accurate delivery of orders. The operational workflow encompasses first mile (product storage), middle mile (transportation), and last mile (customer delivery), with a consistent vision and dedication to the customer across all stages.

• Support, mentor, and motivate salaried and hourly workforce.
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
• Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other Leaders to load balance.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with all support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 49 pounds and frequently pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.

Required Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in employee and performance management.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or a minimum of 2 years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional experience that would be beneficial includes:

• Over 1 year of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.

Work Environment and Experience

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role requires a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience. The work involves leading teams within a dynamic fulfillment center environment, focusing on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
