Oracle APEX Application Support

About the Role

Salt is seeking an Oracle APEX Application Support professional to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on supporting enterprise applications built with Oracle Application Express (APEX), ensuring their stability and performance.

Role Context and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing support and enhancement of APEX applications. This involves a range of technical tasks from debugging and troubleshooting to integration and performance optimization, working within an operational support framework.

• Debug and troubleshoot APEX application issues across various environments.
• Prepare technical documentation, including release notes and deployment guides.
• Provide continuous support for APEX applications.
• Integrate APEX applications with REST/SOAP web services, APIs, LDAP/SSO, and external data sources.
• Debug and write efficient PL/SQL functions, procedures, packages, and triggers.
• Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code to achieve high performance.
• Build automated scheduled jobs, notifications, and background processes using PL/SQL.
• Develop interactive custom reports, dashboards, forms, and workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, propose solutions, and deliver enhancements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a strong technical background with specific experience in Oracle APEX and related technologies. A solid understanding of ITIL processes is also essential for this role.

• Strong experience in PL/SQL.
• Proficiency in database architecture.
• Expertise in UI/UX design within APEX.
• Experience integrating APEX applications with external systems and APIs.
• A strong understanding of ITIL processes.
• 5-10 years of experience in operational support.
