The Role: Principal Specialist, TechOps Solution

Ma'aden is seeking a Principal Specialist, TechOps Solution to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to capturing the Statement of Requirements for various initiatives, troubleshooting current and future technical states, and driving work packages that demonstrate value across quarters. The specialist will define solution plans in alignment with Platform and Solution Architects, and provide support for business unit delivery, including site-based deployments and ongoing management.

Solution Delivery and Technical Troubleshooting

• Translate business challenges and site-based evidence into specific solution requirements.
• Define priority elements of solutioning necessary to meet Business Unit objectives within relevant technology domains.
• Resolve technical and integration issues that impact initiative outcomes.
• Ensure that solution designs are scalable, integrated, and aligned with enterprise standards.

Guidance and Quality Oversight

• Guide delivery teams, including data scientists, engineers, and digital specialists, to ensure the correct implementation of solution designs.
• Provide technical direction, design clarification, and quality oversight throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Ensure that implementations meet agreed functional, performance, and quality expectations.

Strategic Initiative Support

• Collaborate with Domain Integrators and Business Partners to shape initiative scope, define success measures, and establish value hypotheses.
• Ensure initiatives remain aligned with agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), value outcomes, and strategic priorities.
• Identify and surface technical trade-offs, risks, and dependencies at an early stage of initiatives.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
