Role Summary

The Purchasing Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing purchasing operations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring adherence to company standards and regulations. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience. The supervisor will play a key role in inventory management, vendor relations, and supporting the management team in various operational aspects.

Key Responsibilities

• Print, organize, and summarize necessary documents, distributing information to relevant employees.
• Maintain current knowledge of company safety programs (*, food, retail) and all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Adhere to food safety and handling policies across all food-related areas.
• Maintain clear and organized records, ensuring all reports and invoices are properly filed and stored.
• Calculate figures for inventories, orders, and costs.
• Conduct inventory audits to determine stock levels and needs, notifying management of low stock.
• Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues and oversee the return process for damaged or incorrect items.
• Verify, track, receive, unload, and process deliveries, reconciling shipping invoices and receiving reports.
• Monitor PAR levels for all food items to ensure proper stock.
• Assist management with training, scheduling, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees, serving as a role model.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, completing required safety training and certifications.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Assist other employees to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to speak with others using clear and professional language, and prepare/review written documents accurately.
• Capacity to develop and maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Proficiency in reading and visually verifying information in various formats.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for grasping, turning, and manipulating objects.
• Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, including stairs and ramps.
