About the Role

Egis is seeking an experienced and decisive Rolling Stock Lead Rail professional to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time leadership position where the successful candidate will oversee the planned maintenance and condition management of our rolling stock fleet. The role focuses on ensuring optimal performance, safety, and regulatory compliance within rail operations.

Role Overview

As the Rolling Stock Lead Rail, you will lead a team of maintenance professionals and drive continuous improvement initiatives across our rail operations. The position requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field, with a strong emphasis on leadership and technical guidance to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise rolling stock maintenance teams, providing technical guidance and performance management.
• Develop, implement, and optimize planned maintenance and condition management (PMCM) strategies.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime.
• Analyze maintenance data and performance metrics to identify trends and optimize schedules.
• Manage maintenance budgets, resources, and procurement activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, and safety teams for seamless integration of maintenance activities.
• Establish and enforce maintenance standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor rolling stock condition through inspections and diagnostics, utilizing condition-based maintenance techniques.
• Develop and maintain maintenance documentation, procedures, and training materials.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in maintenance management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in rolling stock maintenance or rail fleet management.
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience managing maintenance teams and operations.
• Extensive knowledge of planned maintenance and condition management (PMCM) principles.
• Strong expertise in rolling stock systems, components, and maintenance requirements.
• Proficiency in maintenance management software and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Solid understanding of rail industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to analyze maintenance data and utilize analytics for process optimization.
• Knowledge of predictive and condition-based maintenance techniques.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar).
• Preferred experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
• Preferred experience in the Middle Eastern rail or transportation sector.
