Role Overview

Apparel Group is seeking a Sales Associate to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time role is central to representing the brand, maximizing sales, and delivering exceptional customer service. The Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining store standards, supporting visual merchandising efforts, and contributing to the overall retail experience while adhering to operational duties as assigned by store management.

Customer Service Responsibilities

The primary focus of this role is to engage customers effectively and facilitate their purchasing journey. Key responsibilities include:

• Greeting customers and assisting them in selecting products that meet their specific needs.
• Engaging proactively with customers to convert window shoppers into buyers.
• Promoting the company's loyalty program to encourage repeat sales and customer retention.
• Delivering high-quality customer service by following the company’s GUEST model (Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank).
• Staying informed about various brands within the group to offer effective suggestions and cross-selling opportunities.
• Educating customers on product features, benefits, materials, and care instructions.

Merchandising and Product Management

This role involves maintaining the visual appeal and availability of products within the store. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring products are displayed attractively and in accordance with store layout standards.
• Adhering to visual merchandising (VM) guidelines and stock management protocols, particularly for clearance items.
• Recording and maintaining accurate inventory records for incoming and outgoing stock.
• Upselling and cross-selling products to enhance sales opportunities.
• Maintaining strong knowledge of product inventory and current promotions to communicate effectively with customers.
• Replenishing and re-merchandising stock on the sales floor to ensure continuous product availability.

Operational Duties

The Sales Associate performs essential operational tasks to ensure smooth store functionality and security:

• Operating the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for billing and transactions.
• Balancing the cash till accurately at the start and end of shifts.
• Processing various payment types, including cash, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
• Issuing receipts, processing refunds, and providing correct change to customers.
• Maintaining vigilance regarding store security and ensuring all loss prevention policies are followed.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates for the Sales Associate position should meet the following criteria:

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential to contribute to a welcoming customer experience.
• Previous experience in a sales role is preferred.
• Required experience level is 0-1 years.
• Ability to present a well-groomed and professional appearance at all times.
• Flexibility and availability to work extended hours during peak sales periods.
• Commitment to staying up-to-date on product knowledge to minimize stock loss and provide accurate recommendations.
